The Glucose Management Indicator (GMI) is an estimate of your A1C based on continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) data. To convert GMI to A1C, you can use the following formula:

A1C = GMI

GMI is calculated using the average glucose levels from your CGM data. The formula for GMI is:

GMI (%) = 3.31 + 0.02392 × (average glucose in mg/dL)

For example, if your average glucose is 150 mg/dL, your GMI would be:

GMI = 3.31 + 0.02392 × 150 = 6.9%

This GMI value is then considered equivalent to your estimated A1C. However, it's important to note that GMI and A1C may not always match exactly due to individual variations in glucose levels and red blood cell turnover.
