A person is considered diabetic if their blood sugar levels meet the following criteria:

  • A1C Test: 6.5% or higher.
  • Fasting Blood Sugar Test: 126 mg/dL or higher.
  • Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT): 200 mg/dL or higher after 2 hours.
  • Random Blood Sugar Test: 200 mg/dL or higher with symptoms of diabetes.

These tests are used to diagnose diabetes. If you suspect you have diabetes, consult a healthcare professional for proper testing and diagnosis.
