An A1C level of 5.2% is considered normal and does not indicate prediabetes. According to the CDC and other health organizations, the A1C ranges are as follows:

  • Normal: Below 5.7%
  • Prediabetes: 5.7% to 6.4%
  • Diabetes: 6.5% or above

Since 5.2% falls below 5.7%, it is within the normal range. However, it's always a good idea to discuss your results with your healthcare provider to understand your overall health and risk factors.
