Normal blood sugar levels when not fasting (also known as random blood sugar levels) typically fall within the following ranges:

  • Normal: Less than 140 mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L)
  • Prediabetes: 140–199 mg/dL (7.8–11.0 mmol/L)
  • Diabetes: 200 mg/dL (11.1 mmol/L) or higher

These values can vary slightly depending on the individual and the testing method. If your blood sugar levels are consistently outside the normal range, it’s important to consult a healthcare provider for further evaluation.
