An A1C level of 5.1% is considered normal and does not indicate prediabetes. According to the CDC and other medical guidelines:

  • Normal: Below 5.7%
  • Prediabetes: 5.7% to 6.4%
  • Diabetes: 6.5% or above

A 5.1% A1C is well within the normal range, but it's still important to maintain a healthy lifestyle to keep your blood sugar levels stable. Regular check-ups are recommended, especially if you have risk factors for diabetes.
