The normal A1C level for women (and men) is generally the same. According to the CDC and other health organizations:

  • Normal A1C: Below 5.7%
  • Prediabetes: 5.7% to 6.4%
  • Diabetes: 6.5% or above

For most adults, including women, an A1C level below 5.7% is considered normal. However, individual targets may vary based on factors like age, overall health, and medical history. Always consult with your healthcare provider to determine the best A1C goal for you.
