Prediabetes is diagnosed based on the following blood sugar levels:

  • A1C Test: 5.7% to 6.4%
  • Fasting Blood Sugar (Fasting Plasma Glucose): 100 to 125 mg/dL
  • Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT): 140 to 199 mg/dL

If your test results fall within these ranges, you are considered prediabetic. It's important to consult with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and to discuss lifestyle changes or treatments to prevent the progression to type 2 diabetes.
